Millesimo // Light machine

Millesimo is a couple of light machines that visually represent that fraction of a second in which the vibration of a beat and the passage of a drop create kinetic energy, assimilated and translated from the machines into electric energy. This is possible thanks to the piezoelectric, the property of certain crystals to convert mechanical stress into electrical energy, and vice versa.
Millesimo is composed by two elements, a bell and a drip-free. The bell represents an arbitrary pulse. The drip-free represents a steady beat, natural, which marks the unchanging and ceaseless flow of time.
